Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CLRTY ("CLRTY", "we", "us") is a global community helping men build real friendships through local movement, coffee and honest conversation. These Terms govern your use of the CLRTY website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CLRTY. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, keeping your account secure, and complying with local laws when attending meetups.

3. Community standards

CLRTY is a safe space. You agree not to harass, threaten, discriminate against or endanger other members; not to share personal contact details of others; and not to use the Service for commercial promotion, spam or unlawful activity. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these standards.

4. Meetups & safety

Meetups organised via CLRTY happen offline and are attended at your own risk. CLRTY is not a substitute for professional or emergency support. If you or someone near you is in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified mental-health service. See our Safety page for support signposting.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile details, messages, event descriptions). You grant CLRTY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. There is no tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, hate, sexual content, graphic self-harm content or abusive members on CLRTY. Every post, comment, message and photo can be reported or the member blocked from inside the app. We review reports and remove offending content and eject the member responsible within 24 hours. Repeat or severe breaches result in permanent removal without refund. See our Community Guidelines for the full standard.

6. Membership & billing

CLRTY is a paid membership service. Individual Membership is £7.99 per month, billed monthly in GBP, and starts with a 7-day free trial. You must add a valid payment method to begin your trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time from the "Membership" page in your profile. If you cancel during the trial you will not be charged. If you cancel after being billed you will retain access until the end of your current billing period; we do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months. Prices may change on renewal; we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for transactions where applicable and handles tax collection where required by law. Organisation Membership is sold on a contract basis via our team.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or place other members at risk. Termination for breach may be without refund.

You can delete your account and all associated data from Your Details in the app, or request deletion at hqclrty.co.uk/delete-account.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, CLRTY is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service or attendance at meetups.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
